The Odessa Drillers are thrilled to announce the signing of Richy Anderson II, a proven 5th-year arena football playmaker and dynamic two-way threat with elite speed, route-running ability, and lockdown defensive talent.
Anderson burst onto the college football scene as a true freshman starter at Penn State, later competing at the Division I level with Temple and UAB. Since then, he has become one of the most exciting offensive and defensive contributors in the indoor game — never afraid to go over the wall to make a play.
Indoor Experience Includes:
- Orlando Predators
- Iowa Barnstormers
- Corpus Christi Tritons
- West Texas Warbirds
- Minnesota Monsters — Championship Winner
Now serving as Wide Receivers Coach at Odessa High, Anderson is focused on developing young talent and helping bring elite indoor football back to West Texas.
Coach Foster on the signing:
“I'm excited to have Richy on our roster. I know his character and work ethic from Iowa when I was their DC — Richy comes to work every day striving to get better. He was a guy I game-planned against last season in the AF1, and I look forward to having him in our game plans for 2026.”
Join us in welcoming Richy Anderson II to the Odessa Drillers family — where passion meets West Texas pride.
